NEW RALLY * EXCELLENT * TITLE FOR GALA
June 6, 2009 in Puyallup, WA. show Gala and September earned her third leg in Rally Excellent and the right to sign her name as C-KEL's Grand Celebration RE. Her score was 85. Our judge was long time Rottweiler person, Don Rennick
Gala also Q'd in Rally Advanced B (score of 87), which gave her the double-Q needed for her first leg toward her RAE. (Now nine more QQs to go!)

NEW AGILTIY TITLE for CANNON

C-KEL's A FIRE IN THE HOLE OA,CD,RN,NA "CANNON" and his handler Rich Hall earned his first leg in Open Standard agility trial held by YABTC in Four Season's Athletic Center. They earned another second placment under David Hirsh with a score of 98 in the 24" class.
Mr. Cannon felt he had 14 "EXTRA" seconds to go and VISIT the ring crew and STILL have time to qualify! We are working on him understanding being a good ambassador for the Rottweiler breed is NOT mandatory DURING a competition NOR is it good for his HANDLER'S blood pressure !

C-KEL'S A FIRE IN THE HOLE CD,RN "Cannon" and his handler "Uncle" Rich Hall earned his Novice Standard agility title at the Youngstown All Breed Club's(YABTC)agility trial held at the Four Season's Athletic Center in Washingtonville, Ohio.
Cannon ran the NOVICE B course in 17 seconds UNDER the wheeled course time for a score of 100 and SECOND placement under Judge David Hirsh. Cannon was moved up to OPEN STANDARD for the next day.

CHAMPION C-KEL's Gretta MJ Ritz CD, AX, NAP and Jo still flying from Saturday's accomplishments rand the Novice JJW B 24" SCT 35 Gretta ran 106 yards in 26.62 CLEAN for a l00 and 1st place, under Judge Clyde Closson earning her Novice Jumpers title (NAJ)
In Std. Ex. A 24" course time was 183 yards 64 sec Gretta finished in 54.82 under Judge Janet Budzynski for a SCORE OF 100

AKC CHAMPION C-KEL's Gretta MJ Ritz CD, OA, NAP and Jo ran their Novice B Jumpers 24" course at the Sports Zone hosted by the Williamsport Dog Training Club. Course was 110 yards/SCT 37 sec. and Gretta ran it in 25.88 sec.for a score l00 and FIRST PLACE under Judge Clyde Closson.
Later that day-- AS A NEW MOVE UP from EX B-- Ms. Gretta ran the EX. A Standard 24" class SCT 62 sec. Gretta completed 176 yards in 61.36 sec. for ANOTHER 100 and 2nd placement under Judge Janet Budzynski. Here comes those MACH POINTS !!!!

FIRST EXCELLENT A JUMPERS LEG for GIDGET
AKC POINTED C-KEL's Gidget Goes Bar Hopp'in OA, OAJ, CD and her owner/trainer/handler Rich Hall ran in the Altoona Area Kennel Association Agility Trial in State College, Pa., Ag Arena. Under Judge Scott Stock Gidget ran clean for a score of 100 and FIRST PLACE in EXC A JWW 20" class with a blazing time of 32.54 on a 163 yd course. That is 5.01 yards per second!

GRETTA'S DOUBLE Q and NEW AGILITY TITLE NAJ & OA
Jo and Gretta (CHAMPION C-KEL's Gretta MJ Ritz CD, OA, ,NAJ, NAP) headed to the Ag Arena in State College Pa for an agility trial. Gretta was entered in 24 " jump height NOV B Jumpers class, wheeled /posted @109 yards SCT time 36, and they did it in 26.42 ! A clean run or "Q" for a score of 100 and FIRST PLACE.
Gretta and Jo then ran in the 24" Open Standard class posted @154 yards SCT
63 and she did it in 50seconds- for her SECOND clean (DOUBLE Q) for a score of 100 and FIRST PLACE !!!!!
BOTH runs where under Judge Scott W. Stock. Today Gretta is moved up to Excellent Standard classes....and we will see how it goes !
We are so proud of her....as she has not been competing in performance events due to securing her AKC Championship in December.

Gretta and Cindy earned her THIRD MAJOR and
finished from the Bred By Exhibitor class at the IX
Center/Medina Kennel Club.
She earned 5 points by winning WINNERS BITCH and then was
awarded BEST OF WINNERS under Judge Sulie Greendale-Paveza.
She is now known as AKC CHAMPION C-KEL's M J Ritz CD,
OA, NAP, CGC, TDI.
Gretta is already busy focusing on OPEN obedience and
agility with Jo.

Our "Gala" (C-KEL's Grand Celebration aka ORANGE girl ) and her trainer/owner September finished her Rally Advanced title this morning, at the Willamette Toy Dog Fancier's all-breed trial in Ridgefield, WA, under Judge Altha "Loanne" Maier, with a score of 90, and not only a green ribbon, but also the blue ribbon for winning her class. WHAT AN IMPRESSIVE TEAM !
They moved up to Excellent in the afternoon, for the Mt. Hood Keeshond Club's all-breed trial (way cool having 2 trials in one day at the same location!)... and she Q'd with a 92, under Judge Alice A. Peterson, which earned her second place and her first leg of the Rally Excellent title.

Gretta's SECOND OPEN STANDARD run was at York County Dog Training Club judge Terri Campbell score of 100 with a course time 64 sec. for her SECOND OA LEG!!

Gidget Qualified for her first Standard Excellent A leg with yet another first place under Judge Cherrie Treber.
In her first attempt at Open A obedience on November 1 at the Back Mountain Kennel Club , Gidget Qualified and placed 4th in a class of 26 dogs with a score of 186 under Judge Robert Amen. The following day she also qualified with a score of 192 and a second place after winning a run-off for second place under Judge Anthony Cherubini.

Gretta MOVED UP the next day into OPEN STANDARD 24" at York County Dog Training Club. She earned ANOTHER PERFECT SCORE 100 for 1ST PLACE in 57 and course time was SCT 66/YARDS 161 EARNING her FIRST OA LEG ! Will update as they are entered in her next trial.

NEW HERDING TITLE ~ HCT
C-KEL'S Grand Celebration RN HCTs This past weekend, Gala saw sheep for the very first time and... earned both legs on her AHBA HCT title!
She herded them very calmly and kept taking them back to the door of their pen... just like she helpfully 'herds' my chickens when they escape from their fences. The attached pic shows her working the sheep. The two people in the photo are me (beside/behind Gala) and Becky Giddings (our judge, also a Rottie woman).

Zoey headed to CRC (Colonial Rottweiler Club in Lancaster, Pa) and WON BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX IN MATCH the day before the show started AT CRC in SWEEPS Zoey was awarded 2nd in her class with her Dad, Bob handling and Gidget 3rd place with Susie Grupp handling -Both were in the 12-15 mo class
Zoey earned 3rd in 12 -18 regular classes

had a good weekend: We went to New Castle, Pa. 5-day cluster for the
Memorial Day Cluster.
Gidget picked up 1 AKC CH Point/ BOS/ RWB from the BBE classes Gretta picked up 4 AKC PTS/ 3 BOS and ONE BEST OF BREED from 12-18 month classes. Then in the afternoon the cluster offered 2 days of obedience -- Gidget already has her CD and was not entered Gretta earned 2 FIRST PLACEMENTS in NOV A with her owner, Jo. It was Jo and Gretta's first time EVER in obedience competition.
Cannon and I earned our CD obedience title.

Zoey then headed to the ARC (American Rottweiler Club) in Lake Elmo Minnesota and won 4th place in SWEEPS with Bob
July: Zoey, Judy and Bob from Florida will head North again only this time to Canada for the Woodstock Rottweiler Specialty and then onto Valley & Limestone shows while up visiting Bob's mother.

CKELS Gidget goes Bar Hoppin, CD OA NAJ finished her
Novice Agility Jumper title at Youngstown All Breed Training Club Agility Trial, Aug 15, scoring 100 and a time of 24.92sec for a first place.
Also on the same day she won the Open Standard 20" class for
another Blue ribbon under Judge Donald Skibniewski.
On Saturday she finished her Open Standard title with another score of 100 and a first place under Judge Deborah Funk, Sunday she scored a 100 and a first place in Open Jumps with Weaves with a time of 30.11 secs .

New AKC companion dog obedience title for Gidget!!
Gidget is trained and competes with her "dad" Rich Hall.
Obedience at Western Kennel Club on March 29th under Judge Linda MacDonald. Gidget takes a third place in Nov B- Leg #2
On April 12th at the Harrisburg Kennel Club with Judge Virginia Kinion presiding Gidget Qualified to finish her CD. Leg #3 and new title. Gidget scored 184-1/2 in Nov B in her first obedience trial.

gets a well deserved rest after getting her first leg of her CD at Maryland Dog
Training Club obedience trial in West Friendship MD on Sunday March 16.

Gala attended the ARC Region 1 Specialty. She and September earned their third RN leg was on Friday, August 17 in Enumclaw, WA. under Judege Sue Cox. Their score was 72, and they were darn funny to watch. Halfway through our run Gala suddenly noticed the three large ceiling fans and became fascinated, even somewhat mesmerized, by them. I have this on video, and you can actually hear the spectators laughing at the Funny Puppy. But we Q'd!
AND placed 2nd. What a hoot!Gala was six months and eight days old when she earned her RN. Not bad for a babykins.
